Khari McCloud is a director based in New York City, working across film, creative direction, and photography. His work is shaped by stillness and a sensitivity to environment — he often favors wide, contemplative frames that position subjects within spaces larger than themselves, a perspective influenced by his Southern roots and the open landscapes he grew up around.
His imagery creates emotionally resonant, relational spaces where tone, texture, and presence quietly lead. His long-running collaboration with Chase Shakur has produced some of the most emotionally precise work in independent R&B, alongside projects with Killer Mike, Fathers & Daughters, No Savage, 21 Lil Harold, and JODY$.
